Background

The Bethel Youth Group (BYG) was established in 1989 to provide for the social and spiritual welfare of the young people in the community.  BYG has since become a flourishing and dynamic youth arm of Christ Apostolic Church (Bethel) UK; with its own constitution and management committee. Their responsibilities include; organizing activities for the Junior (ages 4-13) and senior (ages 14-20) members of the group. Our aim is to prepare the youth for the challenges of the future, by using Christian principles as the basis of our activities.

OUR PASSION

BYG believes in Christian ethos and principles and aspires to be ambassadors of Christ Jesus wherever we find ourselves. We believe that it is important ‘to seek the Lord in the days of your youth’ (ECCLE. 12:1)

ACTIVITIES

BYG meets on a regular basis and organizes various  events and activities focusing on the social and spiritual needs  of the youths.  These include: - Drama – music – sporting activities – Debating sessions – Quiz and Competitions events – Bible studies and prayer meetings – Symposium – Counselling (spiritual and social matters). We also organize various community outreach activities which includes, evangelism, feeding the homeless and visits to  the less privileged individuals within the community

MEMBERSHIP

Membership of the BYG is open to all young people who are interested in the activities described above.  Your talents will be enhanced through these activities.
