Our Philosophy
| Members' code of Conduct
All members are expected to observe the following code of conduct befitting a sincere Christian. - Be committed to keeping all of God’s commandments.
- Pay your tithes regularly and contribute to God’s work to the best of your ability. (Malachi 3:8-10)
- Show respect in every way for God’s house and property. (Matthew 21:13)
- Offer willingly to serve without grumbling, in co-operation with others. (1Peter 4:10; Galatians 5:13)
- Be exemplary in all your ways. (Titus 2:7)
- Have a teachable spirit and be well disposed and willing to learn.
- Uphold the Church, attend services and meetings regularly and punctually. (Hebrew 10:24)
- Show love to fellow believers without discrimination the basis of race, education or physical disability. (John 13:34 & Romans 12:10)
- Avoid unruly and disgraceful behaviour that brings dishonour to the name and house of God, such as use of drugs, alcohol and smoking. Also avoid dishonest behaviour and stealing. (Romans 13:13)
- Do not be aggressive, abusive or indulge in name calling. (Ephesians 4:31)
- Shun the company of gossips, back-biters and conspirators.
Christ Apostolic Church (Bethel) Beliefs
- Divine inspiration and Holy Spirit Scriptures (Rev. 1:19 & 22:18-19 and Matt 5:17)
- The unity of the Godhead and the Trinity of the persons therein.
- The utter depravity of human nature; the necessity for repentance and regeneration and the final doom of the finally impenitent.
- The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and abiding intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ. His second coming and millennial reign on earth.
- Justification and sanctification of the believer through the redemptive work of Christ.
- The sacraments of baptism by immersion and of the Lords supper.
- The baptism of the Holy Ghost for believers, with signs following.
- The nine gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit for spiritual and physical benefits of the Church, which is the body of Christ.
- The possibility of falling from Grace, hence the need to watch and pray as precaution and exercise of the great spiritual sensitivity in monitoring one’s own standing.
- Church government by Apostle’s, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders and Deacons.
- The obligatory nature of the tithes and offerings (Malachi 36:12)
- Divine healing through obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ and faith in His name and Merit of His blood for all sicknesses, diseases and infirmities. (Full manifestation of Divine healing and miracles)
- Faith in God, the “Jehovah” to supply all your needs.
